CC Engineers to Supply 140T Rail Crane Operator Full Cab Training Simulator to Eastern Railway, Jamalpur

Pune, June 2026. CC Engineers Pvt. Ltd. has been awarded a purchase order by Eastern Railway for the supply, installation and commissioning of a 140T Rail Crane Operators Full Cab Training Simulator at the historic Locomotive Workshop, Jamalpur (Bihar). The multi-crore order, placed against an open e-tender, includes a full-cab simulator built to the COFMOW/IR specification for crane simulators, along with demonstration, training, proving-out and a five-year post-warranty comprehensive annual maintenance contract. The equipment will be manufactured with over 90% local content under the Make in India initiative. Breakdown crane operation is one of the most safety-critical skills on the railway. This full-cab simulator will allow Eastern Railway to train and certify crane operators in realistic, risk-free conditions - improving both safety and operational readiness.
